I got fed up watching good tradespeople lose work online
I spent 25 years working in technology — building and delivering software for a major French bank. For most of that career I was deep in the technical side; more recently I moved into project and programme management, overseeing large, complex builds from brief to delivery.
That background taught me two things: how to build things properly, and how to keep a project on track without letting it spiral into something expensive and overdrawn.
But after all those years in the bank I kept noticing the same problem closer to home — brilliant local tradespeople, people who genuinely knew their craft, losing work to competitors with shinier websites. Not because those competitors were better. Just because they made a better first impression online.
So I decided to do something about it. I started building websites specifically for local tradespeople in and around Swindon — fast, affordable, no agency nonsense. A fixed price, plain English, and no disappearing act once the site goes live.
I’m not an agency. I’m one person, working locally, who responds personally to every message. If something needs changing, you email me — not a helpdesk in another time zone.
